BYT is an eclectic tribe of artists of various backgrounds and disciplines, whose passion is to seek out what makes a story great and then work stubbornly to create films that will touch people’s hearts. The stories we choose to tell focus on pivotal moments that lead to profound change. Through vivid characters and carefully crafted narrative, we hope to challenge our audience to embrace their own humanity, both beautiful and terrible.

Since its founding in 2013, BYT has produced a multitude of short films without any outside funding. Their first production, 'Missed Connection', won 3rd place in the Super Short category at the LA All Sports Film Festival. BYT went on to produce two dramatic short films: 'Poison' and 'Good Riddance'. The latter was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2015 Montreal ACTRA Awards. In the past year, BYT has been steadily working on distributing their two most ambitious projects yet, 'A Motion Away' and 'Where You Are'.
